Easy Street ( Testprint ) Series printed with soles of my old shoes. With this I am literally and figuratively following my own footsteps.Shoes and footprints are part of someone's identity.
This is why the work has an autobiographical character. The first 2 layers are a woodblock print showing the material print of the shoe soles. The title "Easy Street" refers to the name of the design of these shoes. The series is printed by hand without the use of a printing press. signed AP.
